Delivery Magazine, Australia's leading light-commercial vehicle publication, has announced the winners of the Delivery Magazine Best LCV Awards for 2020.

Now in its 14th year, the selection of the winning light-commercial vehicles results from consultation between the magazine's team of writers to select the models that best suit their intended purpose in the market.

"The light-commercial vehicle market is very focused on how the right specification of vehicle can benefit its operation through its working life. Safety, technology and innovation, combined with reliability and functional fitness are the factors that contribute to lowering the total cost of operation," said managing editor Chris Mullett.

"The complexity of the work task is the reason for different vehicles performing better in specific areas. In making the final selection, Delivery Magazine has taken into consideration a broad range of factors to assist readers in making their own purchase selection," he added.

Delivery Magazine's Award for the Best Small Van 2020 goes to the Renault Kangoo Crew based on its clever versatility that offers full cargo space for work and the ability to become a people mover with three seats that fold flat into the cargo floor.

No matter how good the competition, the Mercedes-Benz Vito sets itself apart from the crowd by its technical supremacy and is the Delivery Magazine's Award for the Best Medium Van 2020. When buying on safety reasons, the Mercedes-Benz Vito is impossible to beat.

The safety and technical innovation inbuilt to the latest van and cab/chassis range again substantiates Mercedes-Benz winning Delivery Magazine's Award for Best Large Van 2020 with the Sprinter.

The value for money, high level of equipment and greater interior space and larger tray area creates compelling justification for Korean manufacturer SsangYong and its Musso model to score Delivery Magazine's Award for the Best Value Ute 2020.

An impressive record of reliability and durability backed by interviews with mechanics and fleet operators as well as the views of owners enables the Isuzu D-MAX to win Delivery Magazine's Award for the Best Work Ute 2020.

The creation by Nissan Australia of the Navara N-TREK Warrior provides the recreational ute owner with everything in one package, carefully selected for improved ability and supported by a full manufacturer warranty. The result is a well-engineered total approach to work and play requirements, recognised by the Delivery Magazine Award for Best Recreational Ute 2020.

The comparative pricing of high-specification utes results in the affordability of the RAM 1500, which offers superior equipment, better performance plus a 4.5-tonne towing ability to score the Delivery Magazine Award for Best Tow Vehicle 2020.

Despite highly competitive alternative options from the European manufacturers, the price competitiveness of the Hino 300, with its high active and passive safety inclusions, results in the Delivery Magazine Award for the Best Light Truck of 2020.

The final selection of the Delivery Magazine Awards for 2020 is as follows:

Best Small Van  - Renault Kangoo Crew.
Best Medium Van – Mercedes-Benz Vito.
Best Large Van – Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
