Australia, February 26, 2015 - The Australasian Off-Road Vehicle Association (AORVA) has received strong support from Off-Road vehicle users since its launch in mid December, 2014. Hundreds of members have rushed to jump on-line to join and support the rapidly growing association. AORVA is offering Free Membership to ATV and SSV users until 31 December, 2015.

AORVA is an independent not-for-profit organization that will lobby all levels of government to overcome limitations around land access for recreational riders. AORVA will push to bring legislative changes that would allow all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and side-by-side (SSV) riders the same recreational access that is currently afforded to trail bikes and 4WDs in allocated national parks and state forests as well as promoting safe and responsible use.

"AORVA intends to provide riders across the country with greater recreational riding opportunities. By increasing access to more places to ride in a safe, structured and respectful way, our sport becomes even more appealing," said the vice-president and regional general manager of BRP's Asia Pacific region, Grégoire Dupont.

Australian ORV product users deserve a fair go, and have not enjoyed strong representation in Australia for too many years. Now the chance for them to get behind an Association dedicated to expanding safe and responsible ORV use is here.

"We know from our customer feedback that they seek the undeniable social, physical and emotional benefits of their chosen form of outdoor recreation. So Polaris is pleased to support AORVA as the voice of off-road vehicle users across Australasia," said managing director of Polaris Australia, Peter Alexander.

Work to open up more structured, safe and enjoyable riding experiences for its members has begun. Benefits of AORVA membership also include access to AORVA website Ride & Drive Locations Mapping, Code of Conduct, e-mail Newsletters and AORVA member website login, with insurance also slated to be included in the membership package in the future.

As a special introductory offer, AORVA is offering Free Membership to ATV and SSV users until 31 December, 2015.
