Lube Mobile's future in safe hands with Bridgestone purchase agreement

Australia's most trusted tyre brand, Bridgestone, has acquired the iconic mobile automotive service provider, Lube Mobile Pty Ltd

The transfer of ownership takes effect today, 1 August 2019.

Lube Mobile was founded in 1982 and has grown to become one of the most recognisable and iconic Australian mobile mechanical service providers, built on the principle of providing cost-effective, hassle free servicing to customers.

According to Lube Mobile CEO, David Sayer, the deal with Bridgestone ensures that Lube Mobile remains in safe hands in the future.

"Lube Mobile and Bridgestone are both industry leaders, automotive icons and share many of the same values," Mr Sayer said.

"We are excited to become part of this professional, iconic, globally recognised group who share our commitment to customer service and innovative mobile solutions.

"I am confident that Lube Mobile will continue to grow under Bridgestone's ownership and remain Australia's favourite mobile mechanical service provider."

Bridgestone is the leading tyre company in Australia, and operates company owned stores, as well as the franchised Bridgestone Select and licensed Bridgestone Service Centre locations throughout the country.

The addition of Lube Mobile will be complementary to the Bridgestone network's existing tyre and automotive servicing model.

Lube Mobile will continue to operate under its own brand, as an independent business unit of Bridgestone.
