The Finke Desert race is in its 40th year and 2015 is set to
serve up an outstanding weekend of adrenalin pumped action both in
the bikes and the cars. The blast down to Finke and back to Alice
Springs on the following day is high on the list of every
off-roaders bucket list and Polaris wants to make it even easier
for entrants.
For 2015, Polaris and CanAm will provide a support package to
all Polaris RZR and CanAm Maverick Entrants at no charge! Here is
what we will provide…
- Invitation for the driver and co-driver into the Pit Stop at
Finke. Additional members of individual teams can be discussed with
us.
- Transport of entrant swags and spares departing Alice Springs
on Race Day 1. This way, camping entrants can still use their swag
the night before the race.
- Pit tent provided to work on vehicles ready for the 2nd Day of
Racing.
- Dinner and Breakfast provided.
- Fuel container transport to Finke. Not a mid-race service.
Alternatively entrants use the race organisers arranged fuel
service.
- Technical advice.
A limited Spare Parts Shop will also be provided at Finke on a
user pays service. Parts that might be more likely to be damaged in
an off-track excursion will be carried.
Essentially everything entrants would need as a bare minimum for
overnight support at Finke is provided without the need to arrange
someone else to undertake this 880km round trip.

The bike entries were oversubscribed within the day of opening so
entrants need to keep vigilant to avoid missing out. For more
