THE LEGEND JUST GOT EVEN BETTER
The 2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 Heavy Duty (HD) Electronic Power Steering (EPS) has just arrived on Australians shores.
This new model is the latest incarnation of the Sportsman 570 HD which was Australia's highest- selling ATV for 2017 and is jam packed with hard working features, designed and built from the ground up for Australian farm conditions.
"The Sportsman 570 and its predecessor, the Sportsman 500, is the world's best-selling automatic ATV of all time and with the introduction of an even higher spec version designed for the Australian market, we expect this number 1 medal to remain in our trophy room," said Polaris Australia Country Manager, Alan Collins.
An exciting feature introduction to the new Sportsman is the superb 4-Wheel Descent Control (4WDC). The Polaris 4WDC system provides confidence- inspiring control of all wheels to eliminate that "heart in your mouth" feeling when the conditions become more demanding than what a single brake pedal can modulate.
When travelling on firm, grippy and level surfaces, 4WDC is simply not required and that is why Polaris has made it an "on command" switchable function via the on- dash switch.
The features don't stop at 4WDC. The Sportsman 570 HD EPS is powered by the proven 44HP EFI Polaris ProStar Engine and offers more features for Australian farmers than ever before. Heavy Duty is a tag many like to throw in without backing it up. Polaris however is intensely serious about its Heavy Duty features including a massive 556kg towing capacity. The Sportsman 570 HD EPS is also designed for increased durability for our tough Australian conditions with Heavy Duty (HD) features in the form of a front bumper, steel racks front and back and 6 ply tyres. Grease nipples are included and suspension joints and drive shaft and splines are sealed to increase durability in adverse operating conditions. Electronic Power Steering is another exciting addition to this model to reduce driver effort.
The Sportsman 570 HD EPS hosts an unmatched bevy of features and with an MLP of just $9,995 ride away; it is the best value and highest- featured ATV on the market.
"When the first Sportsman 500 was introduced to the Australian market in 1998, it had a price tag of $9,995 and it is outstanding that 20 years later we can introduce a model with such outstanding innovation at that same price point," said Polaris Country Manager, Alan Collins.
"The Sportsman 570 HD EPS has been designed from the feedback we have received from Australian farmers nationwide over our 20 years in the marketplace – made for hard work."
The Sportsman 570 HD EPS is available in stores nationwide.
In 2017, Polaris posted the biggest year ever recorded by any brand in the history of the Australian off-road vehicle market, reigning as the number 1 brand with 29 per cent market share.
