Limited Edition
With only 750 ever being sold worldwide, the Bobber TFC will be one of Triumph's most exclusive and desirable Modern Classics. Featuring premium TFC badging and instrument fascia with gold detailing, and a beautiful individually-numbered plaque on the top yoke, each one will be completely unique and never to be repeated.
Every Bobber TFC owner will also receive a special tailor-made TFC handover pack unique to their bike, featuring a numbered letter hand-signed by Triumph's CEO Nick Bloor, a personalised custom build book, a beautiful Bobber TFC bike cover, a TFC document wallet and a premium leather TFC branded rucksack.
More Power and Torque from a Significant Engine Upgrade
The new Bobber TFC achieves 10 PS (13% up) more power than the standard Bobber and Bobber Black. This is delivered by significant engine upgrades including lighter weight engine components, such as a low inertia crankshaft, clutch, balance shafts, dead-shafts, rare-earth alternator, magnesium cam cover, thin-walled engine covers and header pipes. Along with the higher power, the Bobber TFC also delivers a higher torque punch low down and across the entire rev range, peaking at 110Nm, which is 4 Nm higher than the standard Bobber and Bobber Black. The heavily revised HT engine also revs 500 rpm higher, with a rev limiter now at 7,500 rpm.
There is also a premium one-of-a-kind exhaust system just for the Bobber TFC, with Arrow titanium silencers and carbon fibre end caps delivering a totally unique rich and raw British twin soundtrack.
Lighter and Higher Specification
Significant weight savings across the entire motorcycle make the Bobber TFC approximately five kilograms lighter than the Bobber Black for an even more dynamic ride – delivered by engine component refinements, carbon fibre bodywork, and a tail light removal. The final weight, rake, trail and seat height specifications for the new Bobber TFC, and the difference vs. the standard Triumph Bobber and Bobber Black, will be released following homologation in January 2020.
In addition to the weight saving, the Bobber TFC also has a category-leading higher level of specification and equipment, with fully adjustable Öhlins upside-down front forks and adjustable Öhlins rear suspension unit.
Unique to the Bobber TFC are also the high specification Brembo 4-piston M50 radial monobloc calipers and twin floating Brembo front discs, delivering excellent stopping power. The premium specification continues with a Brembo radial master cylinder and MCS span and ratio adjustable brake lever plus matching clutch lever.
Highest Ever Level of Capability
Increasing the level of rider-focused technology is the additional Sport riding mode, adding up to a total of three riding modes unique to the Bobber TFC (Rain, Road and Sport), which now adjust throttle map, ABS and traction control settings to better suit the riding conditions or rider preference. This is enabled via the latest generation ride-by-wire, which delivers enhanced rideability, safety and control.
For enhanced visibility, lower energy consumption and greater durability, the Bobber TFC features all-LED lighting, including an LED headlight with signature profile daytime running light (market specific availability), multi-functional rear indicators (market specific availability) compact front indicators and a number plate light.
The Bobber Triumph Factory Custom is also equipped with a new stylish feature-packed instrument with beautiful unique TFC-branded dial face and an instrument bezel featuring a new Triumph badge. This also incorporates a digital menu system, displaying important information to the rider and accessed via the switch gear.
ABS and traction control are also fitted for maximum safety and control, both implemented with minimal visual impact - compact, responsive and unobtrusive. Optimised to reduce lever effort for the rider, the torque-assist clutch makes the bike even more comfortable over long journeys and in stop-start riding, while the engine immobiliser with a transponder incorporated into the new high-value gold badged key is also fitted as standard.
Premium Custom Finish and Detailing
Setting a new bar for beautiful bobber style, the new Bobber TFC showcases the purest bobber silhouette amplified by its distinctive clip-on handlebars and unique beautifully engineered lightweight carbon fibre bodywork, including beautiful carbon fibre side panels with high-value electroformed badge with TFC branding, and a minimal front mudguard with carbon fibre mudguard supports. Additional exquisite detailing includes knurled handlebar grips, delivering a unique sporty and engaged riding position and ergonomics, state-of-the-art billet machined aluminium top and bottom yokes with TFC branding, premium real leather statement seat offering the Bobber's innovative adjustable seat position, minimal bobber rear-end, and billet machined aluminium oil filler cap.
All of this comes on top of a whole host of beautiful blacked-out features, including premium black anodised multi-spoked wheels, black Öhlins RSU spring and Öhlins forks, black engine covers and a black frame and swingarm. To perfectly complement the black theme and real carbon fibre, the Bobber TFC is available in one signature premium twin paint scheme – a distinctive Carbon Black and Matt Carbon Black, with silver foil union jack flag on the knee pads, brushed foil bobber decals and a Triumph triangle logo decal on the tank. The fuel tank also features a gold pin stripe and that premium gold detailing is applied across the whole motorcycle, from the gold detailing in the badging and instrument faces to the unique key with gold detailing and even a stylish custom gold chain.
The Bobber TFC retains all of the distinctive core bobber design features, such as the heritage inspired battery cover with stainless steel strap, the classic rear 'drum brake' inspired hub, a rear mudguard loop, an ignition barrel located in front of the right side panel, bar end mirrors and a branded locking fuel cap.
