- ŠKODA Australia offers free on-road costs for selected MY19 ŠKODA models
- Free 12-month registration, CTP, zero stamp duty and dealer delivery charges
ŠKODA Australia is continuing its sales momentum in April with free on-road costs for selected MY19 ŠKODA models in the range.
Celebrating the sale of its 40,000th vehicle in Australia, the Czech brand is offering customers the attractive offer for the remainder of the financial year.
Kieran Merrigan, national sales and planning manager for ŠKODA Australia commented on the brand’s performance in Australia.
“The market continues to test every brand’s mettle, but ŠKODA vehicles continue to find homes with Australian customers thanks to our ‘simply clever’ range, which now are just that much more affordable with an attractive free on-roads offer,” he said.
Like most European manufacturers, ŠKODA’s head office operation in the Czech Republic is also working through a backlog of testing requirements as a result of the recently introduced WLTP, which is affecting supply of volume models such as the award-winning Octavia. Mr Merrigan was confident that ŠKODA Australia’s stock situation would improve in the second half of the year.
“It’s a nice problem to have short-term in that we currently have more demand than supply, but we are working to remedy that for our customers, and hope to have renewed supply of Octavia in the coming months.”
ŠKODA Australia closed out March up on the sales result of the same month last year with 531 cars, with a YTD total of 1,434 vehicles.
