ADELAIDE, South Australia (22 November 2022) — Australia's Most Trusted Tyre Brand, Bridgestone, has proven its outstanding service goes beyond tyre services with the Bridgestone Select network claiming Gold for Independent Car Servicing in the Reader's Digest's Quality Service Awards.
Bridgestone offers auto servicing through its national network of Bridgestone Select stores, and through its focus on delivering expert advice for the individual needs of customers, Bridgestone has built on its success in the tyre retailer category to continue to earn the trust for motorists' mechanical and servicing needs.
The victory caps off a highly successful year of accolades for the Bridgestone Select network, adding to its back-to-back victory in Canstar Blue's Most Satisfied Customers awards, unprecedented ninth win of Reader's Digest's Most Trusted Tyre Brand status, and Silver Quality Service award in the Tyre Retailer category.
The annual Quality Service Awards are conducted by independent firm, Catalyst, and saw a sample of 2,500 Australians surveyed across 35 categories.
Bridgestone Australia & New Zealand Managing Director, Heath Barclay, says the Gold award in the Independent Car Servicing category showcases the trust consumers have in Bridgestone and its stores for more than just tyres.
"Bridgestone is trusted for its range of quality tyres and our service and this award highlights that this trust extends to our expert mechanical service as well," Mr Barclay said.
"As the automotive industry continues to evolve and emerging technologies become more prevalent, we know that customers will continue to turn to suppliers that they know and trust, and that's why delivering a seamless customer experience is so important.
"Our future as a sustainable solutions company goes beyond just tyres, and a core part of this is delivering on the individual needs of customers. It's one of the ways Bridgestone will continue to provide value to our customers," he added.
The Quality Service Awards see consumers rate their experiences with retailers across five key criteria: personalisation, understanding, simplicity, satisfaction, and consistency.
Bridgestone's continued success in the Quality Service Award complements the brand's status as Australia & New Zealand's Most Trusted Tyre Brand, as voted by motorists in the annual Reader's Digest Most Trusted Brands survey – a title Bridgestone Australia has continued to be unrivalled in for nearly a decade.
"Bridgestone has earned the trust of motorists not just for our quality range of tyres, but also for our award-winning service – and winning Quality Service Awards across two categories in 2022 highlights this trust," Mr Barclay added.
As part of the company's global mid-long term business strategy, Bridgestone is undergoing an evolution towards a sustainable solutions company, placing its Bridgestone E8 Commitment at the core of its operations.
Through the Bridgestone E8 Commitment, the company strives to create purpose and process for the company, partners and customers towards the development of a more sustainable society through eight values: Energy, Ecology, Efficiency, Extension, Economy, Emotion, Ease and Empowerment.
Bridgestone's award-winning service model exemplifies the values of ease, through a convenient, one-stop location for tyres and servicing, and empowerment, through delivering expert advice so motorists can make informed decisions.
