After a successful two seasons in partnership, Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) has announced an extension of their sponsorship of the A-Leagues, solidifying their commitment to Australian football and sports enthusiasts nationwide. The original three-year partnership was announced in October 2021, as Isuzu UTE became the Official Automotive Partner of the A-League Men, Women, Youth and E-Sport Leagues, as well as the Naming Rights Partner for the A-League Men's competition, known as the Isuzu UTE A-League. The renewed agreement encompasses two additional seasons of exciting football action, which will see the partnership continue through to 2026.
"We are proud to continue our partnership with the A-Leagues for two more seasons," said Isuzu UTE Australia's Managing Director, Junta Matsui.
"Over the past three years, we have witnessed the incredible impact that the A-Leagues have had on Australian football, with this season already bringing in record-breaking viewership, membership and attendance figures. The future of Australian football is brighter than ever, and Isuzu UTE Australia is proud to be at the heart of it."
The partnership extension commits to continued support on and off the pitch, with IUA providing a fleet of vehicles to the A-Leagues for on-the-ground support, as well as an exclusive member offer for A-Leagues Club members.
In the upcoming 2023-24 season, Isuzu UTE plans to enhance its collaboration by incorporating key digital assets, in addition to introducing back-of-shirt branding across six clubs in the Liberty A-League, beginning in the 2024-25 season. This move signifies a remarkable progression in Isuzu UTE's commitment to the A-Leagues and showcases its dedication to actively engage with fans and elevate the overall football experience.
"We are delighted to have Isuzu UTE Australia on board for another two seasons," said A-Leagues Commissioner Nick Garcia.
"Their unwavering support has been instrumental in helping us reach new heights and engage with fans. We look forward to building on this success and continuing to deliver world-class football experiences to our supporters."
