Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) has proudly partnered with ex-National Rugby League (NRL) and Union Star, Mat Rogers and Australian Media Personality, Chloe Maxwell for an exclusive two-year partnership, which looks to foster and grow the 'Go Your Own Way' lifestyle the company and celebrity couple collectively live to promote.
Together with their kids, Mat and Chloe look to further this message with a pair of 2019 vehicles—a Titanium Silver D-MAX LS-T 4x4 and a Magnetic Red MU-X LS-T 4x4—which will enable them on their family escapades amongst the picturesque landscapes of the Gold Coast surrounds, where they call home.
"Chloe and I are very excited about our partnership with Isuzu UTE Australia, who have generously supplied two vehicles for us to make great use of over the next two years," Mat Rogers said.
"As people who love to get out-and-about in the day-to-day, it is always a great incentive for us to partner with brands who help us experience what we love to do as a family, which in turn allows us to promote a life full of adventure and encourage families to do the same," he said.
Mat Rogers is a renowned former Rugby League Footballer, spending much of his time throughout his sixteen-year career playing for the Cronulla Sharks and the Gold Coast Titans. He also had the opportunity to represent Queensland for a few years in the Rugby League, even dipping his toe in the Rugby Union landscape by playing for the New South Wales Waratahs and the Australian Wallabies.
His wife, Chloe Maxwell, is also a seasoned professional across the Australian Media, having appeared on a variety of network programs throughout her career as a model and TV presenter, most recently becoming a radio breakfast show host on 'Juice FM' on the Gold Coast—which airs on weekdays between 6am and 9am. She is even the published author of her 2012-released book 'Living with Max', which recounts the family's journey of discovery after their son, Max, was diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. This diagnosis is what also prompted the couple to establish their charity, 4 ASD Kids (4 Autism Spectrum Disorder Kids), which they said was born out of a real need in the community.
"In 2009, Mat and I co-founded 4 ASD Kids on the back of Max's diagnosis in order to assist other families who are living with the same challenges as we are and in sharing our story, we hoped we were able to provide some relief to them in knowing they are not alone," Chloe Maxwell said.
"We are extremely grateful to IUA for the support in supplying us with the 4 ASD Kids branded D-MAX and the MU-X to accompany us on our mission to spread encouragement to other families living with the similar challenges and be able to show that exploring this country in spite of our daily challenges is absolutely possible," she said.
For the past decade, the pair have managed to help raise over $2 million for 4 ASD Kids to contribute towards placing children with Autism Spectrum Disorders into early intervention programs designed to help them assimilate into everyday life, as well as providing additional support to their families.
General Manager—Marketing & PR at Isuzu UTE Australia, Mike Conybeare said partnering with a family like Mat and Chloe's who have this passion for life and commitment to making a difference is exactly what the IUA message looks to promote.
"As a company who consistently encourages our customers to live a 'Go Your Own Way' lifestyle, we are always proud to have the opportunity to partner with people who share this same passion for adventure," Mike Conybeare said.
"We are honoured to be able to provide them with the D-MAX and MU-X for them to use in their mission to raise awareness and fundraise for their cause—to provide families living with a child with autism with the knowledge and assistance to be able to help them go their own way," he said.
As an avenue to raise awareness for 4 ASD Kids, Mat and Chloe created 'Maxing Out' in 2017, which documents three unlikely celebrities on their journey to Germany, to compete in the annual Challenge Roth, a 226-kilometre Ironman distance triathlon. Season 1 is scheduled to air on National Geographic, Monday 19th of August and Monday 26th of August. 'Maxing Out' mirrors the journey faced by families with a child with autism to send the message that with an amazing team behind them, someone's belief in what they think they can achieve can be taken to the max—ultimately empowering them to conquer these challenges and recognise the joys that come with undertaking that journey.
