Leading tyre manufacturer Kumho has continued the roll out of its Platinum Dealer network with the opening of Bellbird Tyres at Blacktown in Sydney's west.

Bellbird Tyres is the third Platinum Dealer to be opened in the Sydney metro area since the program was launched in late 2011.

Established to showcase Kumho's extensive tyre range through friendly and professional dealers, the Platinum program has flourished with more than 30 stores nationwide.

According to Kumho Tyre National Trade Manager, Glenn Pearse, increasing the presence in Sydney is a priority for Kumho and Bellbird Tyres will play a key role in doing just that.

"Kumho has tripled the number of Platinum Dealers in Sydney in recent months because the Sydney market is a vital one," said Glenn Pearse.

"Bellbird Tyres has formed a strong reputation in Western Sydney through its ongoing commitment to service and providing the best value for customers, which is why it was the prime candidate for Platinum status."

Located at 52 Campbell Street Blacktown, Bellbird Tyres features off street parking, family friendly waiting areas with TV and tea and coffee facilities as well as a friendly, expert team.

Managing director of Bellbird Tyres, Ranjith Tennakoon, says becoming a Kumho Platinum Dealer is recognition for the hard work of his team.

Kumho is a proud supporter of the McGrath Foundation and holds an annual Pink Fitters Day as a fundraiser for the charity. Bellbird Tyres will play a key role in 2014 event in which Kumho hopes to raise more than $25,000.
