- 5 Star ANCAP Safety rating for the all-new Range Rover
Sydney, April 10, 2013 - The all-new Range
Rover has been awarded 5 Stars for Safety Performance by ANCAP.
This is the highest award achievable for Safety standards within
Australia demonstrating Land Rover's continuous commitment to
engineering excellence.
"This is an excellent result for the All New Range Rover with
the vehicle recording high scores in the frontal offset and high
impact categories and a very strong result overall. It's an
incredible achievement and testament to the dedication of our
engineering team," said Tim Krieger, Land Rover Brand Manager.
The all-new Range Rover further demonstrates Land Rover's
commitment to sustainability. It is 420Kg lighter than its
predecessor and has outstanding results for occupant protection;
achieving maximum points in numerous areas within the ANCAP
tests.
