Challenging the boundaries of conventional cruiser design with
its innovative futuristic styling and 1800cc performance engine,
Suzuki’s latest Boulevard M109R muscle cruiser is bolder than
ever in new Candy Max Orange paintwork.
“Revitalising the cruiser market, the Boulevard M109R made
a bold statement when it was first released two years ago, but now
adding a vibrant new colour option, Suzuki’s most powerful
performance cruiser stands out from the crowd more than ever

The Boulevard M109R is equipped with an enormous 1,783cc (109
cubic-inch), liquid-cooled, DOHC, fuel injected, V-Twin engine
designed to produce masses of power, responsive torque and
mind-blowing acceleration.
Using race-proven technology to reduce friction, the massive
112mm bore and 90.5mm stroke features huge 112mm forged
aluminium-alloy pistons that are among the largest reciprocating
engine pistons of any production passenger car or motorcycle in the
world.
The Boulevard M109R features the advanced Suzuki Dual Throttle
Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system for smooth throttle response
even at low engine rpm.
A compact dry-sump lubrication system incorporating Suzuki
Advanced Sump System (SASS) is designed for reduced engine height,
a lower crankshaft position and lower centre of gravity.
Offering comfortable cruising across a variety of riding
situations, the flagship Boulevard model features a strong,
five-speed transmission with carefully selected gear ratios.
Fitted with a 2-into-1-into-2, stainless steel, chromed exhaust,
the muscular cruiser features Suzuki's digitally controlled SET
(Suzuki Exhaust Tuning) system for optimum engine performance and
offers up the M109R’s satisfying, powerful V-twin engine
note.
Equipped with sophisticated suspension components, the inverted
front forks, featuring race-proven cartridge internals with 46mm
stanchion tubes, provide the Boulevard M109R an aggressive front
end look with 130mm of wheel travel.
The Suzuki’s cast aluminium-alloy swingarm works with a
progressive linkage and a single rear shock with adjustable spring
preload.
Developed using Suzuki’s famed GSX-R sportsbike
technology, the race-proven brake system includes radial-mounted,
opposed-four-piston front calipers with 310mm front brake rotors
and a dual-piston rear caliper with 275mm rear disc.
Measuring a massive 240mm, the beefy Dunlop rear is the widest
ever used on a Suzuki motorcycle to put Boulevard M109R’s
awesome power to the road.
Offering extended touring range, the wide, 19-litre capacity
fuel tank flows into integrated side covers, stylish radiator cowl
and a comfortable low seat.
The solo-seat cover offers the M109R an aggressive, sporty look
and can be quickly and easily swapped for the included passenger
seat when required.
A handlebar mounted instrument cluster includes digital
tachometer and LED indicator lamps, complementing the tank mounted
analogue speedometer and LCD odometer, dual tripmeters, fuel gauge
and clock.
At an SRP of $18,990 (inc GST) plus on road costs, the Suzuki
Boulevard M109R (VZR1800K8) is available in a choice of Pearl Black
or the all-new Candy Max Orange colour and features a two-year,
unlimited kilometre warranty.
