Hot on the heels of its scintillating form in the Australian
Superbike Championship, Suzuki's legendary GSX-R1000 is available
in three new colour schemes following the arrival of the 2010
model.
With dramatic new graphics, the 2010 GSX-R1000 is available in
Suzuki's traditional Blue / White livery, or Black or Blue / Black
colour schemes.
After victories on debut in American and British Superbikes, the
newest generation of Suzuki's flagship model added to its
impressive pedigree, winning on debut in the Australian Superbike
Championship at Eastern Creek in July.
Team Joe Rocket Suzuki ace Josh Waters backed up the win with
podium finishes in the following two events at Mallala and Phillip
Island, with the GSX-R1000 also setting a new lap record at each
circuit.
An unsurpassed package, the Suzuki GSX-R1000 is powered by a
999cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, featuring the
Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel-injection system and a
class-leading power-to-weight ratio.
The GSX-R1000 is packed with race-bred technology, including
MotoGP-inspired mufflers, a back-torque-limiting clutch and
Suzuki's original Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS).
With a twin-spar cradle frame, made from just five cast
aluminium-alloy sections, and the revolutionary Big Piston
Frontfork (BPF) front suspension system developed in conjunction
with Showa, the GSX-R1000 offers supreme handling.
New liveries highlight the GSX-R1000's stunning looks, with the
aerodynamic bodywork the result of extensive wind tunnel
development.
The 2010 Suzuki GSX-R1000 is now available in Australia, backed
by a two-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
