Suzuki Motorcycles has announced the expansion of its benchmark
QuadSport all-terrain vehicle range with the introduction of the
new QuadSport Z250.
Set for launch in Australia in March, the new QuadSport LT-Z250
has been developed from Suzuki’s high-performance QuadSport
Z400 model as an entry-level ATV.
“Suzuki continues to set the standard in the world ATV
market, and the new QuadSport Z250 is a logical next step in the
range’s development,” Perry Morison, General Manager
Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia said.
“The new model is the perfect first sports ATV … it
has the performance pedigree of its larger brother but is more
manageable for less experienced riders.”
Aggressively styled with a real ‘motocross’ look,
the new QuadSport LT-Z250 is powered by a single-cylinder
four-stroke 246cc engine and features a five-speed transmission
that includes reverse.
Suzuki’s QuadSport LT-Z250 also has independent
double-wishbone front suspension with five preload adjustment
positions, while a single coil-over damper at the rear allows 155mm
of travel from the aluminium wheels.
Australian pricing will be announced closer to its March 2003
release.
