Audi has launched two new exterior styling packages for the brand new Q5 compact SUV.
Customers now have the option of an 'off-road styling package' for more aggressive, outdoor characteristics or a sportier appearance with an 'S line' package.
The Audi exclusive off-road styling package offers customers additional features to build on the visual off-road appearance of the all-new Q5.
The package includes 'tougher' front and rear bumpers, side grilles and door capping strips, as well as wheel arch extensions in a striking off-road design. Stainless steel is added to the underbody guards for the front and rear bumpers and the package also contains a single frame grille, finished with vertical chrome struts. As standard, the off-road styling package includes 19-inch, five-arm-off-road design alloy wheels.
This brand new package starts at $5830 when added to the 3.0 TDI and 3.2 FSI Q5 models, and $7850 for the 4-cylinder 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TFSI variants.
The Audi Q5 can also now be customised to offer an enhanced sporty and dynamic appearance, with the arrival of the S line sport package, adding features to both the exterior and interior of the car.
On the outside, the Q5 S line gets front and rear bumpers and the diffuser in sporty designs, the front grille with vertical chrome struts, chrome plated exhaust tailpipes on the four-cylinder engine variants and S line badging on the front guards. It also adds rear diffuser inserts in Platinum Grey and the lower sections of the front and rear bumpers and door capping strips are painted in the body colour.
The S line package comes standard with 19-inch five spoke design alloy wheels.
The interior gets S line door sill trims and badges, black cloth headlining and S line inlays in Matt brushed aluminium. All models also get front Sport seats with lumbar support when choosing the S line package, which is in addition to the electric driver seat already standard on V6 models.
Pricing for this sporty package is from $6390 when added to the 3.0 TDI and 3.2 FSI Q5's and $12, 030 for the 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TFSI.
By choosing the S line package on the Q5, customers also have the option of two additional exterior metallic paint colours, Daytona Grey pearl effect and Monza Silver (rrp $1900).
The Q5 is already proving to be a success with 101 units sold in the first month of sales.
The final two new engine variants will be joining the line-up in the coming months, with the 2.0 TDI and 3.2 FSI on their way to Australia. Both are expected to arrive around May.
